I have been fishing since the age of 6, starting on the local canal’s and progressing to the rivers and later ponds in the Midlands.
During a period of tench fishing in my mid teens on a small pit I hooked and lost what was something i’d never experienced before, from then the carp bug slowly started to take its hold.
I have over the last 12 years ventured further afield in pursuit of large carp in Oxfordshire, Shropshire, Peterborough and now onto Cambridgeshire . Most memorable capture was the Zip Linears from a very tricky East Midlands water both well over 40lb and within 12 hours of each other
I’ve had numerous great fish from some very difficult waters and look forward to every year when a new challenge arises.
