Despite being the tender age of 25 1’ve been carp fishing since I was 10 years and grown up fishing alongside my old man learning the tricks of the trade. I live in Nottinghamshire where let’s face it where not exactly blessed with lots of choice when it comes to targeting big carp.
I currently hold down a full-time job outside of my hobby but I work very closely as an ambassador for Korda Developments, Mainline Baits, Daiwa, Deeper Pro and now I’m fortunate enough to have joined Cotswold Aquarius. I’m currently also the face of CarpWorld Magazines “Discovering Day Tickets” series.
Because of my hectic and busy lifestyle, I like to target venues which hold a decent head of carp with a few target fish to go at. The style of angling I prefer to do is three rods tight on a spot and build the swim whilst incorporating zigs if necessary.
